Chasing moon

I have many interests that bring me joy and capturing  little pieces of world is one of them. I never took photography seriously and might never do. But saying "never" for the future is quite a stupid  thing to do. So who knows. Right now photography in my life is a way to represent my other craft to you in a aesthetic way. But when a view catches my attention and I'm mesmerised by it, I try to freeze that moment. To make it last for ever not only in my memory but in a physical form as well.

Hello, is there anybody here?? I feel like I come back to this blog time to time to kick it and see if it's still breathing. I see so many bloggs I followed to be absent too. But it's kinda nice to see they are still there, despite not being active. The content in them is kinda nostalgic. I remember how we were some kind of little comunity, when the instagram and tiktok were not there yet. My last post here dates 2017... and it's 2022 summer now. So much happened. So much changed. And now I came to look at myself. The ME before all that. Before my horrible brake down in 2015. Before the covid, before the war... This sounds so bizarre... But here I am. I wonder how many of you are still out there...

Serpents you can carry around

I was working on these adorable pendants whole last week :)
It started, when I got a custom order for a pendant including snakes. I decided to practice them and the idea if more simple pendants of curled snakes came into my mind.

They are made out of polymer clay and  are really light. I paint them with silver paint to make them more realistic.

Bats and how to have one living in your room

This year I decided to learn more about bats... I always found them to be fascinating, but did you knew that there's about 1400 species of them... and more is being discovered. And only three spieces are known to feed purely on blood...  For few orhers just eat their victims flesh... But most of them feed on insects or fruits. They weary from super adorable looking to really creepy ones... Creepe, but non less fascinating;)  Bats make 1/4 of mamal population on earth and their extinction would be felt drastically...

 Well, I could write more, but there are really nice documentaries and books about bats;) You can check them out. Goes good with tea on a rainy day... Watching documentaries makes me feel so cozy :D
So bats inspired me with their unique looks and I created few of my own :D Here's the first one of them :)

Wall is a good place for him too. Bat he likes lamps and windows as well...

The begining of fall is bats mating season and soon they'll start preparing for winters hibernation. It's important to not disturb bats during this period for it can couse their death. And we want more bats in this world, don't we ;)

Back to black and other adventures

Hello, darlings! A lot of time have passed since my last post. But it's Autumn. And Autumn is my favorite season, so I thought it would be a good season for a come back :D

Tones of things have happened. I'm basically a new person now, so I hope you'll like posts, that this new me will be writing :D

I'll try to post a little in every post of thing I want to share with you :)

But first things first...
 I want you to meet my new creations - little demons, that I call dream demons :D

I wanted to start making dolls of my own, when I fell in love with Amanda's  Spade Dust Bunnies :) And finally I started my journey as doll maker. Well I wouldn't call them dalls... They are soft fabric creatures with polymer clay faces and horns. This was my first batch.

Demonic headbands by Deadly Cherries

As you know I've been creating deer antlers headbands for a while now :) And I decided to try something new recently. These are my new designs of Lilith headbands. 

The blue one is still at the store and the red one is gone.

This one had a black sister but I was so in a hurry to ship it out, I forgot to take picture after I made it :( Customer asked for a similar headband but with black roses.

This one is the newest one :) I love making these more demonic headbands :) But on the other hand I always love to try something new.

I also want to brag a little. Lindsay  Schoolcraft who plays keyboard at Cradle of Filth bought one of my headbands and asked for a custom order latter. This is the headband I made for here. She wanted something dark with eve leaves and Lilith horns. The picture doesn't do the justice but it looked great :)  It kinda prompt me to make more demonic horns too.

I will continue making more darker headbands since I want to discover something of my one, that would be more unique and would have my signature.

Gothic/dark jewelry organizer you can make yourelf

Here's another DIY. It's really easy, and I think you all can see what I did here :) I just used twigs, hot glue and acrylic paint. 

I painted few artificial leaves black and hot glued them to the twigs. Twigs are also hot glued to the frame. You can add anything else you want. Be creative :)

So, if you needed something cheap but cute, here's a perfect solution for you. You can leave it for notes or use it for jewelry. I'll be  making another one for notes too. I have  a big urge to goth up every corner of my flat, since I'm living alone for the first time :D 

Turning things black :D

Oh, such a busy person I am. No time to even right a post.But here's one. Short, but...better then nothing. I'm rearranging my flat again since I decided to make the other room just a bedroom, so the main room would be living/working room. Before it was living/sleeping/working room... and the second one was just a storage for things that had no place :D

I'm a big fan of candles and every night I burn a good bunch of tea candles in my colored crystal glasses. I like how the soft light shines in the darkness and I fall asleep so easily :)

I bought a few hundred of them on a sale and decided to keep them in the box on the window shelf.The only free box I had was this yellow one and I decided that it needed a revamping. 

Now it's all nice and black and has bats :D I did felt a great pleasure covering this yellow thing in beautiful black. :P

From Ferrero to Gotherro

I got myself a black Acrylic spray paint that can be used indoor. I have a few cans of black spray paint that leaves room unusable for a 12h and I'm not a fan of those. But this thing is a miracle. 

Just look what I did with the empty chocolate box. It took like 30 min. to revamp it :D

I got Ferrero Rocher for my birthday and kept the box. And one day ...

It was transform into one fitting to be used by me :D Have no idea what to keep in it...

It would be a nice gift with or without chocolate ;)
