Korp Goth....I guess

Good news! After being unemployed for some time I finally went to a job interview!!! And nailed it!!! How else could it be. I tried my best to look presentable with the wardrobe I have at home. And the new red ornamented summer/spring coat I got just added poshness to my looks :D I already had experience in the sphere and good recommendations.

I'm so happy!!! The working hours are superb and it's only 15 minutes away from my home (on foot) :D

The other more sad news are that Nyphadora got stuck in window while we were away. Trying to escape she damage her leg quite a lot. Apparently half opened windows are terrible dangerous for a cat and ours was very lucky to get out with just a wound. It's healing and she has to wear that satellite thing again. Poor thing. It would have never crossed my mind. I guess she was chasing a beetle and her leg got cough. As any animal that is trapped, she began to struggle in panic to free her pawn and that caused a major wound on her upper joint.

She still runs and jumps on table like mad. If I got a wound like that I would be fainting every time I see it not to mention  I would not be able to move. She got lucky, we got lucky. Read about the dangers of half opened windows here if you are not familiar with it. It can save your cats life.

Sorry for the massive photo editing. I just laid my hands on new program and got to carried away :p

Gothically yours,

Extra happy Countess

Usual day of mine

I've been working on some new projects. A cutsew  and a collar. The cutsew is kinda finished. It needs some more details, I think. The good thing with making your own outfit is that you can modify it during the time. So I'll try to wear it and see what is missing...
When I finish a piece I always make a photo because that way it is easier to see the whole view of it. I wouldn't post such photos on blog since they usually are erased. But this one made me lough a lot.  As I found out, I had a stalker in the back ground :D

Try to find a kitty in this photo :D
and yes, when I work the pieces of fabric is scatering all around :D
I'm wearing me new cutsew with white collar and cuffs and a white underskirt with lace trimming.

I found those lace quite cheap and I could not decide on what skirt I wanted them to be. Then I thought " Why not make a underskirt with this  lace so I can wear it with any skirt I like". I love white lace peeking a little bit :) Everything else is my old stuff: high waist skirt and the shrug you saw a few posts ago.
I find some interesting fabric that I took.

I decided to try and make a JSK from it. I have an image of it in my head with dark blue bows, a white pearl chain and some more laces. It would be more classical Lolita but with darker accessories it would be a more aristocratic look ;) I hope I'll succeed.

Day outfit: casual Lolita inspired

Hello hello. Today was may day off. How I love them. I can become a human again :D So, I had a meeting today and that gave me reason to leave my PJ at bed since I sometimes skip the part of getting dressed when I have day off in a week day. That's laziness that imprisones me in my PJ almost for all day. But this time it was different so I had to make myself look good. As influenced by Lolita fashion I'm now so is my outfit  a little bit Loli :)

It's cold outside so no blouses. I choose a sweeter. It's not so very Lolita but lets call it casual Gothic Lolita, OK?;) Oh, I really need a good petticoat :( I want more puffiness!!!! The puffed skirt takes away the height. And that is good. Let's look optically smaller ;) It's a plus in Lolita (for me).

I think some curls would make a better look. But my hair is so week I'm afraid to use a anything hot. Next time I'll twist them while they are wet and leave them to dry :)

I snatched this dress at Second Hand shop.

. I'll upgrade it with laces for sure :) and show it on next post probably :) I also checked out the local fabric shop near me and have found some wonderful fabric with beautiful prints :D Can't wait to get them, not to mention they had a lot of beautiful laces to. I'm planing to make myself a nice Lolita skirt :)

Muahahahaaa!

A new member in a family

I always was more of a cat person, but since my dad loves dogs there always were dogs that we kept. I didn't really liked them. I don't like to pet dogs or play with them. I don't like the smell they have or how obsessive they are with human beings. It's just dogs are not for me. But cats... I love them. I even pursued my mom to finally have a cat. But I don't live at my parent place so I don't see moms cat very often. Since I and my soul mate share the same love for cats we both knew that we want a cat, but we were not sure if we'll be able to look after it. While we were thinking the photos of kitties started to appear on  friend Facebook walls.  I guess it was kitten brood season. I always wanted a black cat because I find them the most gorgeous and also because black fur would not be so visible on our clothes :)
So, when I sow this photo I just called my boyfriend and told him we are going to see kittens next weekend.
I said I'm not sure if we'll take one. He loughed at me and said that we won't be able to resist when we'll see them. And he was right.

Oh, just look at them. A big swarm of furry love :)

The little ones with they mom.

Now we have a six an a half week old girl kitty we named Nymphadora. we call ne Nymph for now :)

She is the cutest thing ever. I hope her eyes will be green and big as her mothers because the mother is very pretty. She got used to us very fast. I cant wait when she'll be a grown up cat. The kitties are super cute but the big cats are so graceful and elegant. It's so relaxing to watch her playing. We just looove her :)
