Gothic/dark jewelry organizer you can make yourelf

Here's another DIY. It's really easy, and I think you all can see what I did here :) I just used twigs, hot glue and acrylic paint. 

I painted few artificial leaves black and hot glued them to the twigs. Twigs are also hot glued to the frame. You can add anything else you want. Be creative :)

 And this is how it looked before....

So, if you needed something cheap but cute, here's a perfect solution for you. You can leave it for notes or use it for jewelry. I'll be  making another one for notes too. I have  a big urge to goth up every corner of my flat, since I'm living alone for the first time :D 

Turning things black :D

Oh, such a busy person I am. No time to even right a post.But here's one. Short, but...better then nothing. I'm rearranging my flat again since I decided to make the other room just a bedroom, so the main room would be living/working room. Before it was living/sleeping/working room... and the second one was just a storage for things that had no place :D

I'm a big fan of candles and every night I burn a good bunch of tea candles in my colored crystal glasses. I like how the soft light shines in the darkness and I fall asleep so easily :)

I bought a few hundred of them on a sale and decided to keep them in the box on the window shelf.The only free box I had was this yellow one and I decided that it needed a revamping. 

Now it's all nice and black and has bats :D I did felt a great pleasure covering this yellow thing in beautiful black. :P

DIY: Gothic frame hooks

So, in one post I have mentioned I bought framed hooks similar to these.

The pictures were not very impressive but I had an idea to change them to fit my taste. So I ripped off the pics, painted all frames in black acrylic paints and with a smallest paint brush I could find I draw a new pic.

And here is the result.

They hang in our kitchen,as you see.

You can have many different variation with these such as

I like this last the most. I'm thinking about making more of them. You can glue your or your friends pictures, paint the frames, glue beads to it or decorative flowers. Glue details like bats, skulls, cameos. Glue something into the frame like tiny cup, parasol or any pendant you don't wear any more. You can put a mirror in, or a love letter. There are many options:)

It's just a tiny details for now. I still want my bloody bath with bloody mat and curtains. A mirror with candel holders in the vestibule and other stuff. But since it's only a second month for us living here we have only posters and my handmade bats.

 As you can see I am a fan of pillows :D Photo taken while preparing for a BJD fan meet :) new clothes end etc. My little boy will be neo East military man or something like that. Lots of black and some red :D

I just learned that Bullet for my Valentine is quite a nice band. All my life for unknown reason I was confusing them for My chemical romance :((( Only when I saw this poster that is now  hanging on our wall, I realized my mistake :/

We got the place absolutely empty, so the first thing on our list was furniture. Now that we got it, we'll do more decorations.

Cute stuff: Ice molds and other

So, I've moved recently with my boyfriend. It's a two room flat with a small kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom is small, but at least the bath is big :D I don't have many stuff. My most precious ones are my bjd Haru and my sewing machine. And a laptop. And that's all. Everything else are clothes and little stuff I can't get rid off, cause they are gifts with memories and so on. But I really hate to have many things. Usually because I don't stay long in one place. And I hate packing stuff. I really do. It took a 1 hour to pack my belonging from the old flat and still it was a bother.

But it's not what I want to talk. I hate packing stuff, but I love having lots of cute stuff at home that would present me, would be unique funny and so on :D So I started to look for cute items to have at home at Ebay. And first thing I ordered were these ice molds. They were to cheap and to cute not to order :D

I like how it sinks :D My darling likes to drink whiskey, so he can sink some icebergs in it :D And for me there will be a vampire teeth :D

The mold even have a coffin shape. How cool is that :D

I also want to order the brain molds and guitar molds :)

Great for the parties on this hot summer :D

Other things on my "Must have list:

A camera lens cup/mug

I like this photo :D

I just happen to have a friend with a professional photo camera. Muahahaa!

A keyboard shaped cups

For sweet, salads, nuts or ice creams :D The best part is that they still look cool while not in use ;)

The blood bath mat... 

...but it's way too expensive. I'll just have to make one :) But I like the idea ;)

I also both hooks with little frames on them ...just like these.

They will be painted over with something more "us" :D 

I know it's not completely our apartment, but we are staying there for at least a year and I want it to be a place I long to come back :) We got it without furniture and bought only the ones we needed: a bed, a sofa for the living room, wardrobe, cupboard and a kitchen table. We need a chest with drawers and that's all. Well, I need it more, sine I'm planing to make it a living place for my ball jointed doll. The point is that there are no old stinky furniture :D  I'll post some photos of the apartment later ;)

I saw it in the morning and at the evening it was sold. I'm never hesitating to buy it again. I see one. I buy... :/

We really  wanted this broken heart... If I won't get one. I'll have to order one to be made from silver.

Changing The look of an old wardrobe

Soooo, let's say you have a boring old wardrobe like I do. Let's say you are renting the flat and can't to remake the wardrobe completely... But you still want it to look more modern and more you. So, what to do??

 Here's the boring wardrobe.

And voila! Fun looking wardrobe. Don't mind the red stuff ;) So, all you have to do is just by desired wall paper and glue it to the bottom of the wardrobe. For me it was some poster I brought from work especially for this project. You can redecorate like that the entire inside of the wardrobe.

And not only wardrobe... Your cupboard looks boring. Use some wall paper too ;)

But this is not all changes for me. I've change the room I was living in. The first was the light one, had a balcony, white walls...but only three walls. The fourth wall was a big wardrobe... And yes, I had no door. After a month living like this I moved to a room with doors since the owner of the room has left it. It's more darker and it's a room for me. That light was killing me!!! I never thought it could happen, but it did. I became disgruntled. I tried to spend all my free time visiting my friend, cause I hated to come back to my place. It's absolutely different now. 

Here's my new room. The bat lamp was moved to the new room too :)  I have a full size mirror now, less old furniture and a wooden walls to pin my photos on. Not to mention the mosquito net. I'm still searching for a nice hanger for it and I'll try to make one, if I won't find a good one soon.

A bat lamp

I have an old ceiling lamp in my room. It doesn't give much light since the ceilings are quite high. After seeing one of the Amie's from Ultimate Goth Guide gifts, I decided to make something simple and cute to decorate my lamp in a batty way :D

This is how it looks during the day, and when the night comes... voila.

It' like they are dancing over the moon :)

What I've done is just took some cardboard to cut out bats, then I used simple black paints to paint them and a floss to hang them on a lamp. I also threw some of them in to the lamp to get a spooky shadow effect. It's not so spooky thought, but still lovely. I do like what I did :) The lamp don't look so plane any more. 

Ch.. ch.. ch... changes :D a new flat

Good news. I'll be mowing to a new apartment soon. I've found a room to rent. I needed one since I decided I'don't like the one I live in any more... So, a friend said he knows someone who rents a room. I went to see it, and the other day I took it. The kitchen and bathroom is not the one you would dream of, but the main thing why I decided to move there is the color of the room. It's WHITE. White is the most neutral color a goth could dream that allows a perfect transformation from common to  darkly creative.

There was a big white wardrobe (about 2 m tall), a large window, a simple bed, a corner table (perfect for my sewing machine) a large cupboard and a balcony. 

I know how I'll decorate the window. I always wanted to have those lovely long curtains. And thanks to Bane, I now know how to make them in the most simple way :) I definatly will borrow some ideas for the wardrobe decoration from her.. and for the lovely curtain over the bed too:D

For a perfect look I'll need a perfect bedding :D I looked for some at the Ebay, but then decided that I'll have to make one. It will be cheaper and more unique. Attachable ruffles will be a good way to cover not so beautiful legs of the bed and will give some style too ;) I like the idea how to make a bed in here.

I think pillows do give a wonderful look to a bed. Especially when they all are in different sizes and colors :D

Next, the accessories. I always wanted some black candle holders - lanterns  that would look like bird cages. I like that you can hang them or simply keep on the table and it always looks good and stylish.

I know it's a little bit a cliche... But who cares? I don't :D

There is a problem with the floor. Since they are old and the paint went off in some places. I'm thinking about coloring them in purple... Or I'll just use a dark purple carpet to cover the bigger part of the floor :)

Any way. I'll take the pictures of it and will show you the transformation on my blog. I hope it will turn out as I want. I really do. I need nice place to live. A nice darkly inspiring place for me and all my imaginary demons, fairies and so on :D
