On my way to work

Hot hot hot... It's hot outside and a friend of a friend told me that the heat will stay during the autumn, so there will be no autumn. I hope not, since it's my favorite season. I love rainy gloomy autumn and it could be like that for all year,.. I heard England is something like that :D Maybe I should move.

I started at my new work place a week ago and I'm so happy. Everything is just perfect and I go to work with a smile. The only problem was that all my clothes are actually black or Lolita style with cute fabrics and lace. And I don't think it's good to show your ego on first month of work. So I got some neutral tones blouses and tried to work them in with a knee length linen skirt I have. The others dress quite bright and my position  includes communicating with people so  I didn't wanted to look out of whole view.
But the only bright colored blouses I liked was olive green and white one with grey vertical stripes.

I got myself new shoes that I love. They are plane Mary James but has more rough pad. They are soft to walk non slippery and makes no sound while I walk (I hate when shoes actually make that sound).
Work schedule  allows me to have plenty of time for my own project and to take care of my shop. The only bad thing is that lately a lot of my packaged got lost and that really annoys. There is idea for a new horns so I still have plenty of work to do :)

Strawberries and denim jaket

Here comes an outfit post. Always easy to make and almost always fun to read (or watch).

This skirt for sure needs bloomers. I Usually wear ones, but this time I skipped it and... I  wasn't that relaxed every time the wind tried to catch it. Luckily he was unlucky :D

Simple classic cardigan with fake pearl buttons wore over a simple T - Shirt. Topped with a denim jacket, flower decorated tights and black boots.

Oh, and a Ruby Gloom hand bag. I now somehow have a whole collection of different bags of this character. Though the cartoon itself did not amused me at all.

Nimphadora all big and black

Bitter sweet strawberry jewelry to match an outfit

I admit I like sweet and cute looking stuff. Maybe that's why I'm fond of Lolita style since it's so cute. I love sweet prints. Most of them are way to sweet for me to have them, but I like them non less. They are cute!!! And if someday I'll have a daughter, that's how I'll dress her till she be able to choose her own style. I have one sweet print in my wardrobe. It's Jewelry Love from Bodyline in black colorway. The other one I was looking at for quite  long time was Chockoberry skirt ( in black colorway of course :D ).

Oh, those strawberries enchanted me!!!

After debating with myself I ordered it. It jet to come but I thought that it would be nice to start thinking about coord. It's not that hard, because I know I'll match it with black blouse and black cardigan or jacket. Then I thought that it would be nice to have a strawberry jewelry to match the skirt theme itself. I didn't wanted it to be childish as most of those sweet accessories are. And I wanted it to be more bitter sweet.  So I made a quick sketch at work.

I'm not best at drawing :)

And on my day off I started to work on it. And here it is finished! The original had to be with a antique silver strawberry on the cameo. But I decided to try it with Polymer clay too, since I don't have any strawberry charm by at the moment.

I added white beads to match the white dots on the skirt.

I decided to make a matching earrings too

I'm quite happy with it. I think it will add enough stawberriness to mu outfit and will go well with any other outfit that need some red in it :) I listed in my shop as item to order to. In case someone will find it nice looking too ;)

And since I'm obsessed with strawberries I'm making this one too :D

A Batberry :D

New bjd outfi: Gothic Lolita inspired

After a few days I already have a full outfit for her and my friend Yuki gave a wonderful wig she had to spare. The color fist her perfectly.

She still has no face up and the body is  not blushed jet. I love her face mold. She has no need for a heavy make up just a natural one. I am a little afraid to attend my first face up but also very exited.

It took  whole day to make her a Lolita inspired outfit. I started at noon and finished by midnight :D  I won't lie, I would like a dress like that myself :D The outfit has all the details:
  • blouse
  • corset skirt
  • petticoat
  • bloomers
  • hairband
  • cuffs
  • purse
  • lace choker
I'm not planing to stop. I hope practicing make outfits for my doll will inspire me to create a whole one for myself :) I'm starting to get a grip on clothes construction :)

Both of me dolls in their fanciest outfits :D

Coord post: Black and wine

So, I usually like to work with two colors. On of them of course is black :D  I Find dark red or wine color to be one of my favorite. So I can easily pick matching accessories for my skirt which is usually the item that gets to be other color then black in my coords :) I always look for little details that would match the color of the skirts I have. If it's a hand made one, I always try to leave some fabric for a matching bow or cuffs or anything else that would give a nice touch to an outfit.

So, the pieces I wear:
  • Demonia heels (they give more mature look that ones from Bodyline so I like to switch time to time).
  • Off brand velvet skirt. Bought second handed And was trimmed with black lace and a ribbon.
  • Pirate jacket - Fan plus Friend bought from a fellow Lolita on EGL sales.
  • Off brand shirt (Ebay)
  • Alchemy Gothic pendant. I'm second owner.
  • Hair: Flower pin (Ebay) and hand made bow clip.
  • Purse second handed. I love to hunt for purses :D

I like this jacket a lot :) It's quite wide open, so all the laces can be seen :)

It's funny, but when my closet was all just average Gothic I had a hard time to dress for the occasions like weddings or grand birthdays of my siblings. Now it's easy  :D I won't look too dramatic but still be able to dress elegant and dark. But after all I find that it's hard to stick just to one or two styles. Sometimes I even feel like going cyber :D Lucky for my I can DIY most of the stuff so no big traumas to my wallet. But it still get hurts time to time :D Lolita hurt it the most thought :D I just cant to resist all those beautiful frill and they are way more difficult to DIY ;) Even if I could easily make Lolita JSK, sometime it's nice to have something made buy someone else.

Daily outfit: over knee socks

Well, today  it's classic Lolita inspired outfit. I tried the hair bow today. Still not my favorite thing...

The skirt is the one I made. A little bit of color into the all black coord.

Socks... I still prefer tight. Some how I feel more comfortable with them. The kinda look good but it tried to roll down all the time. It's a little bit annoying

Waving for  the sailors :D They were just marching trough my room :D
.
Everything else is my old jacket, bat bag and a jewelry peace I bought from an old lady from handicraft market. I wear a simple black top under the jacket. Well, but there is no use in putting much effort in it during the winter. I do it just for fun. Damn, how I wish for the spring to come...

Lace top for warmer weather

So, I ordered a blouse from Ebay and it arrived today. My wardrobe is really in lack of tops so I decided I need to purchase few. I liked this one because of the lace and the high collar  I find it really attractive. I think it will go well with both Gothic and Lolita look. I'll just have to tone it down for Lolita by wearing a jacket. That will give more modesty to the outfit. The fabric is surprisingly soft. I was afraid it will be a itchy laces bot no they are not. The price was about 12 dollars so it's really affordable. The size is one and it's "S" but a bigger girls would fit it too, How ever for the XS it would be a little bit lose. I tried it with satin corset and a long skirt. Perfect for warmer weather. Though for a really hot day I would recommend something from natural material like linen , silk or cotton ;)

Well, I can say it's very versatile and will look good while rocking a party or attending grandmas birthday ;) Or even on a job interview . Combined with the jacked or cardigan of course since you never know how much of skin one think is decent to show.

Outfits: Lolita and stuff

Here's some new coords.  This time almost everything is off brand. I have only Bodyline shoes and bolero (shrug).
A long skirt also would look good with it. It would give more mature look.

So lets begin:
Bolero: Bodyline( bought on EGL)
Blouse: Ebay about 10 $
Corset: Ebay about 10 $
Skirt:  reconstructed second handed. It was XXL size, but I liked the lace So I gathered it to fit my waist.
Bag: second handed. I just added the bat bow.
Hosiery: Local market. I'm wearing lace tights over blue ones :)

All the accessories are hand made ;) I like it a lot :D  Could walk it all day but the is no point as long as it's winter since the coat covers any effort to dress up. Oh, spring, hurry, please. In today fashion of denim pants and sweaters I miss this elegance...

"Unfortunately we live in a society where it’s fashionable to dress as peasants.

Bodyline JSK

Woohoo!! I got my Bodyline order and I didn't have to pay any custom taxes for it.
I was so exited. I rushed home from the post office with a smile on my face and was so happy to see those beautiful bags not on someone else bed but on my own :3

The first one I unpacked was this beautiful black JSK l329. The photos are not the best. But it's not a review. It's just a happy post about my lovely receiving ;)
The satin bows actually doesn't look so bad. The detachable one is a monster. I tried to wear it as a hair bow but it looked like a giant butterfly was attacking me or nesting on my head....

A fast coordination. As I expected, the dress it self did't covered my knees ( I am 170 cm tall). And I want my knees to be covered. So I'm wearing a black skirt under it to give a desirable length. It looks just like additional ruffles.

For the perfect look I'll make some tight matching accessories. But I think it still looks good. The photos it self are bad, I know :D
Oh, Love that black color all over me :3
*****

The second ordered JSK was Love Jewelry L345. And I love the print. So bright and colorful. And I like the details a lot.

 The waist ties.

The first thing I did was removing those two bigger bows in the front and one small in the middle. It gave just to much pink for me...

After I took them of the amount of the pink was just enough for me. It's really nice to get some colors into all black wardrobe.

The dress is also to short so I used the same longer black skirt. And I think it looks better with jacket then a cardigan.
I'm wearing Bodyline shoes146 ;)

So, I'm sitting here in the last outfit, writing the post and twinkle :D I just really like both dresses. The quality is the best I ever had. Really. I don't like to spend much on clothes. And these dresses even didn't cots that much. From this point I just can't imagine the quality of the famous brands. Oh, Ill order from them just to see since there is one print I actually adore.  All I can say for now is just FYeahBodyline :D
