Nice things come after bad ones

Oh my, another month has passed :D oh, it was whole two???.. Time sure flies fast. All half of year seems like a month to me. Crazy crazy, but beautiful month. With some losses...some finds... and things to think about.

Well, the losses... I'm single again. As much as I want to contemplate on it, I must move on. I loved this human the deepest. But love itself is not always enough. But thanks to this time I learned some things about myself. I still love... I just don't ask anything in return.  And expect nothing. I just sit and watch how it all melts away. It's like a fire that you simply stop kindle one day and just sit and watch how it  goes out little by little depending on how big it was made.

Some finds.... Well there are quite a lot of those. My new room mate, that I really like. Not to interested in my life but understand my obsession with bj dolls, oriental culture and doesn't care for bats on every corner in our flat :D Always up for a good chat or a movie...and some vine :)

Also my new doll. Limited beauty from Soom. Got it this summer, never had a chance to brag :D

Toxique Emporium devil/ram horns review

As title says, it's a review of my purchase from Toxique Emporium. I happened to come across a pair of gorgeous looking plastic  ram horns on Etsy. The price looked really good. 20$ for the horns and 10 $ for the shipping. So I added it to my list of favorites to consult with my mate before ordering. Few days latter I saw that the price has dropped to 17$ and I ordered a pair. Now as I think I got them really cheap:D Since after a few weeks the price jumped from 27$with shipping to 49$ with shipping. But the girl was getting a lot of orders so it's only normal since all similar items on Etsy cost even more. There was few negative feedback sin which people were complaining about the time it took to get their order and that the seller didn't respond to messages. Well, as a seller myself I know that sometimes personal issues gets to you because we all are humans and being a seller on Etsy doesn't make it different. So I ordered it since I had plenty of time and was not afraid to wait especially since they looked so good and were so cheap ( at that moment) I ordered the plain horns in black with no straps.

I ordered on May 2 and it arrived an June 26. That took a while. After almost two weeks from ordering I   politely asked when approximately I should expect them to be done and got respond after 10 days that the  horns were supposed to be shipped today  but supplies needed to finish my horns have not arrived jet. I responded that I'm not in a hurry and I understand the problem. After a week there was another message in which the seller apologized for the delay since they had medical issues and told me that the horns will be shipped next Friday. But Friday came ant the were no notifications of shipping so  I asked about it again and  mentioned that I would love to get them before my birthday that is few weeks away. And the same day they were marked as shipped :) 

From her Face Book page I know now that she does everything by herself as well as I do. That's hard. I sometimes have no mood to leave a house even if there is a parcel to be taken to post office. That annoys but since I know the other side of this I kinda understand... And the product is good  :D 

They came in a simple soft post bag with no additional wrapping and I was afraid they will be scratched or broken.

But no, they were fine. So they really are durable :) And they are light. So light you can forget you are wearing them.

The pattern is really lovely and realistic. 

They lack the finishing touch but it's not that visible so I'm OK with that. And after I'll paint them to be more realistic that won't be visible at all.

And here comes the horns in action!!!

The horns are... fantastically comfortable to wear and hold so good on the head It's hard to believe :D I do love them. I would wear them daily but I'm afraid I seriously scare some old grannies by looking like that. You don't expect to meet demons while doing your grocery :D 

 I've seen  that now there is mentioned that it takes 4 to 6 weeks to make the order, so you must be patient. But even with the higher price this is still the cheapest devil horns on Etsy that look really good and have the perfect size and shape. I really recommend to join Toxique Emporium on Face Book, since she post there time to time, and it's easier to post one message on the wall that all followers will see then write personally to everyone on Etsy. 

So, If you need a pair of diabolic horns, I recommend it. But be ready to wait for two months before they are shipped.

Munchkin and lost fingers

I'm into board games now. I kinda always liked them but time to time I feel a desperate need to have some at home so we could play anytime we want :)

This one started from "Munchkin Bites" 

A really easy and fantastic game from a series of Munchkin Card games from Steve Jackson. If you need a fun game to a people from 3 to 6 I can recommend it. Watch how to play it here on Geek and Sundry channel. Which is by the way a very informative channel since they play games they pick and you can see if you would like to play it too. If it's fun to watch is must be more fun to play :) That way we now want "Pandemic" in our possession too :) 

Munchkin is kind of  parody of all those RPG games but it's a really good one :) There are much more to choose from like Munchkin Zombies, Munchkin Conan and so on :) Can't wait to get one of my own. Now we borrow it from a friend. And as my birthday is approaching I kindly mention to everyone who ask what I want for my birthday, that I want a board game :D 

Anyway, in the summer it get more a blog of my personal routine then something informative. Pardon me :)

Lat night I had a need to sculpt something and thats what I deed. Making my own cameos was always fun for me. I;m thinking about getting some mold making clay And to make molds of cameos I've sculpted :) It would take less time foe me to make them again. I got little bit inspiration from horror theme and here is what I created.

I like the creepy finger myself. That nail... These are more simple jewelry that I usually do . I wanted it to be simple pendants at first. But you can't run away from who you are and I just had to add some more details to it :D

The skull and coffin are long necklaces below the chest while other two are usual length -  just a over the chest.

Growing back my hair....

It takes a lot of time

Last time I cut them they become this short. 

After more then a year (that is now) they are like this

and in black.

 Some how they don't wan to grow and I was even thinking about cutting them short. Just like a boy... But it was just a thought. I know, that as thin as they are I prefer this silly look of my thin hair then to hide their thinness in a short hairdo.

 At the moment I adore straight long hair with a bangs. I love it. But my hair just acts against me and refuse to grow. So I keep them in a bun almost all time. 

Kika Macabre

I'd love to color them in deep blue with little shades of black, in nice pastel green, maybe even in soft lavender. But I don't think they could handle the bleaching... 

At least I hope they'll grown a little bit till summer. 

Till then I decided to just forget about them. The more I seem to worry about them, the less they grow...

I have another person at home I can experiment on. I tried dark red and dark vine colors on my bf. But after I saw his photo from very young days where he is blond I insisted him to become blond again. Muahahaaa...   

Well, I like blond guys.... :D

Soooooo... it will be second time of lightening his current color. The red is not that easy to get rid off. After the second time there will be no turning back... If it won't work, will do it again and again until I'll have my Tomoe kun!!! Oh, sorry ..:D

P.S. I noticed that a hot water is not the best for my hair. I like to take a quite hot shower and usually it's to hot for my hair.  So now I take a time to make it lukewarm before I start washing the hair. And my hair has improved :)

Witches dance in my closet

In my book shelf there is a spot dedicated to pagan/magic/spell books. I used to be crazy about them and grab any "magic and spell" book I could found in book store. But then it was rare to find anything as a spell book in a book shop. Now there is tone of them. All are different, almost for any case you need - from home protection to bringing your partner back. Well, in few years I learned that magic works for everyone on their own way. And smile to myself when I hear people arguing over them as how wrong it is or how good. It's nor this nor that. But I guess every witch, knows that. 

I love all the movies about witches.

My favorite one is "Practical Magic". I've seen it many times and it's still fun to watch.

I love the whole atmosphere of the movie, the spells they cast and the midnight margarita :D

"The Witches of Eastwick" is another movie I can enjoy every time I see it :)

The voodoo part always creeps me out :)

Witches  are not the main characters in here, but I still like this one. 

From my young days I imagined witch as a lady with long dark hair wearing a super long dress or skirt that sweeps the floor when she walks. I do like maxi skirts a lot. They must be wide enough and to "dance" around my legs as a walk.  And when it's so long, that you cant even see the legs it seems like the person is floating and not walking :D 

I want this from Bodyline 

Some how I started to like more elegant looks then the edgy ones. Spikes and buckles are not so fun anymore. Sometimes I want a plain long black dress...

Obsesed with of Lolita fashion

Lolita fashion can be obsessive for sure. I swore that today won't be any outfits gazing. Guess again... :) I like it so much it hurts. I don't remember when I liked something that much :) If talking about brands, I myself find "Baby, the stars shines bright" the most attractive. The Vampire requiem I ordered is originally their print :) I find many of they models very attractive.

I even thinking about getting their dress for my birthday. I think I'll go with re-owned one. I'm still not that obsessed to pay 300 dollars for a dress. Sorry, I love dolls more and since it cost half  price of a good ball jointed doll, I would pick doll. I already spend half of AI budget on my requiem skirt and shoes :D 

I think I'll be making the skirts and dresses for myself, since I find only the one with interesting prints worth buying. Everything else can be made:) 

I checked Etsy for Lolita stuff and it was strange, that some sellers wanted 200 - 300 dollars for their pieces. Well, yes, the prints were nowhere seen but the luck of nice details made the dress...boring.

And from all blogs I've red I can say, that for 300 doll most Lolita fashion lovers, including me, would choose a brand dress. I don't think it's polite to poke at those sellers since I'm a seller myself, so there will be no pic of those dresses. Sorry :P

Reading lots of good and bad blogs helped me to understand the non-written rules of good coordinating of Lolita wardrobe. I'm not perfect but definitely better then before.
