Outfit: Elegant Gothic Lolita inspired

Well, here's a random Gothic Lolita  inspired outfit shoot. I was trying it out for Halloween. I don't have photos from the event itself since I had just enough time to dress up and leave and I didn't took my camera with me. But this is the look closest to how I looked.

No umbrella of course but I thinks it's a very nice detail :) And my heart bat bag is the best companion when you need a little purse :) I just love it :)

I had more puffy skirt decorated with lace and frills, my deer horns, and heels were change into New rock Platform boots. Oh, and next time I'll wear contact lenses for sure. For every time I entered the club after having a cigarette outside, my glassed got all fogy  :) Not nice actually... It's sad that there is only a few alternative clubs/bars where you can go. The events sometimes are hold but that's all. I'm so jealous when I read about all those themed vampire/Gothic cafe. I'd love to spend an evening in one. It would be so nice to see other people dressed in their best  lovely dark outfits :) Sad, that most of them are in Japan. I wan't to move there!!! :) That's the only country I'd leave Lithuania for. I'd better start learning Japanese language :D

...and just for the nose bleed...

Ok, now I'm ready to die an reincarnate ...

Pimp my slippers

I bought simple slipper and pimped it up with applications :)

A little bit of lace and a bat. Its bet someone stepped on the back when I was walking and it got ripped. But they were fun to walk in for that short period :D

Thas's all for now. Take care ;)

Gothic Lolita shrug from a simple dress

So, I had this dress in black. I knew I will not wear it anymore so it was perfect to have practice on making a shrug. I saw a couple tutorials and it seemed quite easy to make a shrug. So I decided to give a try. I needed a Gothic Lolita shrug desperately.
And now I have one. I'm really proud of this one. What once was a plane dress now is a gorgeous shrug I don't want to take off. I love it !!!

I cut the dress bottom to get a desirable length top. I cut trough the front to make the opening. From the bottom piece I made little stripes and and trimmed the top and it sleeves with it by making ruffles. I sew a ribbon in front so I could lace the top, added lace and bows to make it more festive :)
Wearing it with my blouse.

 The details.

I used the whole dress for this project. The bottom that was cut off was used for ruffles and bows.

And what was left is now a beautiful hair band. The all thing can be removed and attached to a hair slide or pin.

Hand made Lolita inspired skirt

So here it is - my first handmade Lolita  inspired skirt. Not a reconstruction. I sew it from a fabric I bought at a fabric shop near my home.

As you can see, hundreds of kitties are dwelling on my skirt.

I bought one meter of fabric. And it was hardly enough. So I think for a girl like me who wears size 36 the amount of fabric should be at least 1,5 meter. The fabric was 1,20 cm wide so I cut in in half and had 60 cm x 100 cm  wide pieces. The seams stole about a 1 cm each and I had to cut about 10 cm wide strip for the waist, so the bottom of the skirt is about 175 cm. I think this is the minimum width for a skirt you should make or else it wont sit nicely on you. Next time I'm going for 2,5 meter.  The making was simple. I sewed one side of a fabric to make one long piece, then I sewed the bottom laces and decorative laces on the front. Only then I sew the other side together, gathered it and sew the waist on. Here's the scheme.

I still don't like the bows. I'm thinking about getting more fabric and making them bigger...

By the way, I made this shrug too. But I'll leave the close up investigation of it for the next post :)

UPDATE!!!!

I replaced little bows with big black ones. I think it looks much better now.

Hosiery: a way to diversify your look

I always envied my friend who could wear over knee socks because of her absolutely gorgeous legs. Her legs are slim and long, while I have more of femine figure witch remind sand clock. Usually over knee socks roll down from my tights or maybe I never found the right size for me to wear. So the tights that looks like over knee socks  were the perfect solution. I'm so happy I can wear them and feel really comfortable :D

 I do love them :P

My J-rock skirt goes well with it too...
Well, all short skirt goes well with it. And shorts too... and black bloomer that I have :>
But my real passion is colorful striped tights and all ornament of fishnet tights :) I love to wear stockings during the summer. The gather belt makes you feel very womanly and I don't like those with latex lining for better holding. Gather belt do that just perfect :D

Stripped ones are my favorite. I used to have all palette of  them. Need to restock it really bad.

Its so easy to match with these. Have something blue on your top, there go with the blue/black stripes.
Red ornaments on you vest. Well, black/red is best for you to chose :D

One color pantyhose with ornament. I always match them with my tops ore accessories I wear (hair bows, pins, ties and so on)

Spider net. Good for any occasion. Wanted for a long time and finally got them with just the perfect web design :D

Simple net bigger or small is something I can't live during the summer. My legs are always pale and I get bruises very easy, so net fishnet is best to give a little bit of cover and stay cool.

Hosiery I want to obtain ( or must):

Doll leg tights

Gothic Lolita knee high socks

Skeleton tights

Harlequin tights

AND

and I want all kinds of fishnet tights. I love them all. You can wear them on colorful tights during the colder season or enjoy cool breeze during the summer. They are best ever :D

Halloween head decoration: Enchanted deer

The night of Halloween is tomorrow. I'll be working late but I'm still hoping to hop in at the local alternative club to relax a little bit. I'll have  a little time to prepare so I planing to use tricks such as my black wig and a head piece I created specially for it:)  The puffy skirt and black jacket will do the rest. And who needs a heavy make up with a heavy hair accessory like this :D

It took about one hour to make it. I had a plain band, lace, ribbons, skull and unpainted little deer horns. I just made bows and then glued everything how I liked it to be :)

The horns and bird skull are made from modelling material that dries in 24 hours. These horns were made for my BJD Haru. But they were unfinished so I thought "what the hell..." and combined them into my  hair piece. I do love those little horns. I have big ones too ;) The bird skull is quite easy to make, but you must be neat or else it will look wrong. Skulls are always perfectly shaped, that's why I like them, but a real skull is something I could not wear. I feel strange wearing a fox fur too. On the other hand I have no problem with leather boots or corsets and stuff...

I bought the wig on Ebay after I was surprised by the quality of the cosplay wig at my friends home.  So I searched  ordered  this one in black.

I always was wondering how those Lolitas had such perfect hair. Now I know :D

It costed ...11$ with shipping so I decided to try and I wasn't disappointed. It was shiny black and full volume wig. The synthetic hair is quite soft. The best you can expect for such price. The curls were really nice but I kinda brushed them of. They were to perfect. But I think you can remake them with hot steam. It's a pity I don't have a wig stand so I can model it only on my own head and sometimes it's hard to handle it.

trimmed the fringe a little since they were way to long and that long doesn't look so good on me. It doesn't look exactly but I like it non less. The problem is that I find this black to perfectly healthy looking. It looks to good. I thinking about ordering another one hat would be brown and shorter. I'd love to wear it on daily bases but I feel I want something more simple ;) or shorter at least. It's hard to handle such a bundle of hair :D

Something like this :) (I love spited color wigs)

or this

I also ordered these shoes from Bodyline.

I'll write a review as soon as I'll get them.

Well, thanks for reading;)

Day outfit: Casual Gothic Lolita inspired

So I went to check some fabrics today. The weather is cold and I hate it. My warm coat is at my fathers house and I need to go 300 km to pick it.  It takes 3 hours to go there by train. I think I'll have to do that on weekend, because it's getting to cold with my thin autumn coat. Here's today outfit.

High collar black shirt, striped shrug, high waist skirt, moss green stockings. I'm wearing a puffy kera punk skirt under this one to give it at least some shape.

The big sleeves can be removed. I made them myself. I would were them if I would go to meet someone at a cafe or other place. But since I was off to do some shopping, it stayed at home. I just wanted to show it to you ;)

Here's the short sleeves. I'm still thinking should I order the petticoat or make it myself.

Make up is quite light. I put black shadows on the corners and blended it with dark brown. The hair is simple too. Just two pony tails. I'd love to have some black flowers in it. I'll make something nice and acceptable for me to wear. Bows are just not my type of hair accessory. But I do think that hair accessories complete the look ;)

One of my purses I have. I think it fits perfect with this outfit.

There is a bat bow on it. I made it myself and attached with hot glue. I saw the purse on charity shop and decided that I really need it. It's a perfect little light purse when all you take with yourself is phone, perfume, wallet and home keys;)

And here's my today catch. Demonia black faux suede charade.

They need a little bit cleaning  I wanted Demonia charades for long time, so I picked them despite that they were a little bit small for me. I'll try to wear them at home to see if they will stretch a little. I know there a tricks to make shoes bigger. I have real suede heels that were small at first but I sprayed the inner part with alcohol and walked with them at home and they stretched and now a perfect. If these Demonia beauties will do the same, I'll decorate them to look more fancy, if not, I'll try to trade it into something similar :/

"The heel is about 11 cm and the platform is about 5 cm. So the real high of the heel is 6 cm and they are quite comfortable to walk" - that's what I said to the cashier when she asked are they comfortable to wear. She replayed that the running in these still wouldn't be comfortable. I laughed and said that I'm not wearing them for jogging :D She smiled to my answer :)

Thats' all. Thanks for reading :3
