Day outfit and some more


It was warm weather outside, so we decided to take a walk. Maybe wearing just a denim jacket wasn't such a good idea. It was quite windy and someone seems to cough a cold. But here's some photos of my outfit. Our cat looks so big now. The spring is making her crazy. 
                                      
Skirt is hand made by me and it gives all the elegance to the outfit. I like that bright  red and black combination :) I'm wearing a simple cardigan and a black denim jacket. I know the scarf is not the best solution but it was windy and I'm kinda addicted to them at the moment :) I wanted to pull something more sweet but still Gothic and not so childish as most of Lolita are.

I notice that many bloggers are leaving their blogs. They stop writing or post really rare. And I feel the same sometimes. Like there's not much to say and just posting pictures is... Well, I got tumblr for that :D I promise to myself to make interesting post and then somehow it ends with that. I try to remember what I like about other blogs. Yes, it's usually outfits, DIY stuff and photos. But I feel strange leaving so many info on the internet about me. I don't post much info on Facebook anymore. I rarely use it. It's getting boring there and I see no point in pushing "likes" and sharing links :) I like the free flow of tumblr. I signed there for photos since it's really easy to post and heart the post you like so you could find them later. I'm following some Lolita  threads and some Gothic ones. I guess I need new inspiration. :) I should change the look of this blog too :)

P.S. I made the Bat Berry... ;)

    That bat berry is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen :D!
    You know, I like your blog as it is, with outfits and handmade creations; it's what interests me the most actually :D and you really have a good sense of style, so don't worry, your blog is perfect as it is! But if you'd like to share some other content, it'd be more than welcome ;)

      oh, thank you. It sits on my jacket now and I love how bright it is :)

      Yes yes, I just love how you just write a word and everything that's tagged by it will be showed. However... I got burned by writing Sesshomaru a few times XD The fandom can be harsh pairing him with others... :D

    Oh my, I can't say how much I love your outfit! It's delightfully casual without betraying a love of elegance, and if I were more inclined towards lolita this is what I would be wearing. The bat berry (and the decals behind you too!) is adorable as well.

    It might just be a product of the time of year? I myself only recently came out of exam hibernation, so hopefully with the change of season more people will get blogging again. :)

      That might be a reason. It just was strange when suddenly most of bloggers went on hiatus :) But I myself too was quite sleepy during the winter :D

      Thanks. The bats are cut of cardboard and painted with black paints. I stick them to the wall with double side sticky tape.

    hey! first time visitor. I really like your outfit...and that you made it! and I like how it's lolita without being childish. and what an adorable kitty. Yeah, I noticed a lot of people I follow heading to tumblr and stop blogging. I know I go on tumblr much more myself. It's more instant gratification, I'd say. I could spend hours writing a blog post and get 3 pageviews or post something cool on tumblr and get 500 reblogs.... well it is what it is.

      Yes posting on Tumblr is no challenge. You don't need a good topic just a cool pic. And attention is much bigger. You can post 10 time on Tumblr and I post here one a week usually. But I read blogs for articles and search tumblr for photos :)

    Ah, that skirt is amazing! I love the scarf, too. Something about the combination is unexpected, but so pretty. I know what you mean about so many people leaving their blogs. In looking back and last year's Red & Black Week, there were so many participants then who I think won't be joining us this year. :( But lots of wonderful, talented newcomers as well. Blogging is a huge creative effort, and sometimes I think I will give it up, too. Then I just take a step back and go back to it when inspiration strikes. I guess the key is to not pressure yourself and just do it when you are in the mood.

    I'm so glad you were able to join in Red & Black Week! And I LOVE your kitty!!!

      You think so? Thanks. I still would like to get more elegant one. But yes, it gives roughness to the sweet coord :)
      As for blogs...
      I just don't like the blank spots, so I go and leave the blogs that are abandoned for more then a year. Other strange thing is that I can't get to some of them. Like to A Gloom Plum. I like her blog a lot but now I can not access it :(( And I still get notifications of new posts.
