Going raw...

So, everything started when a mutual friend of ours started to work as chef at raw  restaurant. At first I was like "this is not lasagna if it has no pasta and how are these spaghetti if there is no spaghetti?" But I knew  that it all was just for checking the new waters. We spend the evening talking about raw food and watching  raw recipes on you tube. The evening ended by me making a raw spread from seeds and veggies I had at the moment. It was damn delicious. So that all week I ate raw spreads with everything :D I found out about cashew cream and almond milk and got more and more obsess with idea that I want to eat like that. I was thinking about getting food processor and blender... just thinking until I got this book from my aunt for Christmas :D

"Healthy and delicious Raw cocktails, smoothies and other non-alcoholic drinks"

And I believe that my aunt got it for me because it's a good looking book for as long as I know she is not into raw food culture :D But for me it was a push.

Well, I already ordered my food processor and shaker. It will be in one week. I can't wait to get my hands on it. I do believe that all my emotional mood swings are due to bad diet ( word "diet" describes the sum of food you eat and it doesn't specifically mean not eating for weight loosing purpose).

I'm more exited that I'll get opportunity to try new recipes that are easy to make and are delicious as well as get nutrient and vitamins I need since all our veggies were backed or boiled. And not many good stuff are left after that. Basically I'm letting my body to have what it is craving for and it is craving for raw food like mad.
Other good thing is that while my mate will be cooking his measl I will not have to wait till the stove will be free to use it and will be able to prepare my meal at the same time so we could enjoy dinner time together.

Basically it's a new fun thing for me. Not sure how long it will last. I'm not going vegan. I'll just be eating my vegetables and fruits raw. I'm especially happy that there is a healthy replacement for all those cupcakes and cakes.

Look at these!!!
I also have a secret desire to surprise my mother with all this tasty cooking that I know she would love.
I tried  raw beetroots chips and they are amazingly tasty!! Just look at the color of this smoothie of beetroots:D

I have just a perfect glass for this bloody red drink >:)

I like that this new obsession gives me positive emotions. It's fun and that is really important for me ;)
I guess next post will be about me shaping seed bread into coffins and serving it with perfectly red raw tomatoes spread :D Oh, the space for imagination :D
I would appreciate if anyone who has experience in eating raw would share their mind ;)

A little bit of nonsence

I'm not in my best mood today and this week just because... it happens time to time. So here's a funny comic from my sister about smoking.

bottom (in Lithuanian) "The image of a chimney haven't  impressed anybody..."

"... not even the Santa Clause!"

She is quite good with funny and ironic cartoons :D At least I think so :D

What else... these things  makes me feel better just by posting them...
OK. So, they keep two horses. Every summer there is a problem of keeping them safe from all kind of horseflies and bloodsucker. Those things are really annoying. So they bought a face cover fort the horses. And the one they choose looked... impressive :D

I was laughing so hard at these XD

\I'll go back on packing gifts now...

Deadly Cherries: headband

Made another darker headband again!!! I actually started from the dark ones, but the colorful was a bigger hit. This one looks great with a bigger hairdo or dread-falls. I'll have to show you someday :D

It has a hand sculpted skull of a bird, some charms and a fang cameo and is decorated with laces and ribbons. The horns are wider and placed lowers for that more shamanic look. You can find them at my shop Deadly Cherries

Black cats sits where they want

I used to have this "altar" kind of thing that is not an altar just something arranged by me using "this looks nice" rule :D It used to be on the window of the living room and my cat used to walk all over it making me feel somehow uneasy, because maybe sometimes I do light a incense in this particular space for non particular reasons... or when I feel uneasy. All those candles in sparkling glasses makes me feel relax and calm. And so she kept contemn this lovely arrangement of mine till I decided to move it to another room. To my bedroom. I just went for a second to pick something else and here she was...  I guess I got her permission. She is calmly siting next to it and not on it :D

I do love how everything looks at the evening when I turn off the light and only candles are left to burn in my lovely red crystal goblets.

Deadly Cherries: Tree Branch earrings

I got fascinated by Mori style lately, especially Dark Mori which I see as casual Gothic twitchy style :D I like that "closer to nature" look and need for it usually comes during the cold season. But that's no wonder since the style itself is a layered combination of many things to keep you warm and cozy. I think it's close to Scandinavian look and not so far away from Lithuanian actually since people in countries with short warm season usually adopt to wear cozy warm and natural material clothing. But that's another theme and what I wanted to share are these Mori inspired earrings of black branches. I wanted something like that for myself but nothing really fitted my taste so I created ones myself. They are hand sculpted from polymer clay and have silver plated hooks.

The size of these are about 4 cm tall and 1.5 cm wide.

Here's the little ones. They are 3 cm tall and 1 cm wide :) They hangs directly from you ear.

Thanks for taking a look ;)

Doll spam... ;) beware

One of the dolls I own is a girl and from the beginning I saw here as a enchanted faun in Gothic Lolita dress. But there are so many other styles that fits her and lighter colors looks better on her. I lately got fond of Mori fashion, especially dark Mori witch I actually see as Gothic everyday :D
SO I stared makeing an outfit for my doll that is something between Mori and Dolly kei (also Japanese fashion).

The hairdresser I made for her.

 Resin Soul Ai

Just wanted to show you one of my works as actually making ball jointed dolls outfits and accessories are my second activity after jewelry and I like it a lot.

Moss terrariums in a vine glass

I decided to make new terrariums again and got moss and dirt  for it. I just felt to lazy to start making it. Few days ago I remembered two glasses of wine I kept on my window shelf and decided that they would be perfect for this. So all the moss got new home. It has jet to get green since it got dried from staying in a bag.  But that's the cool thing with it. No mater how "dead" it looks it will get green again after getting some water :D

Here it is right after making it. The making of little thing to add waits ahead. I jet need to decide what it will be: a fairy garden, graveyard, or a forest ground :) What I like about these moss terrariums is when the winter comes and everything is cowered by snow, these lit the islands of green really cheers you up :)  They are like mini world of awesomeness :D

I usually get attached to one sweater and wear it till it's not wearable :D I like them to be comfortable, not to tight, not to short but still having a nice silhouette.
Here are some victims that no longer exist :D

Me 19 :)
This sweater actually belongs to my mom and he wore it during her young adult days :D
I completely over-wore it!

Those stripes were good for any occasion. Going out or visiting my parents if I feel comfortable, then I feel good :D It's still with me.

This electric green sweater is loved for its big neckline. It's comfortable, warm and actually looks good with black :)  It's already at its limits so once again I must find a new victim while the weather is not so cold :)

Bedrooms to dream about

Living in a rented flat doesn't let you decorate it as you want and as I haven't spend more then 3 year in one apartment I don't want to get lots of stuff I would have to take with me. But time to time I get myself dreaming how great it would be to have a place of my own so I could decorate to my taste :D The decor ideas changes as times go ( all black, then white and black, then warm nature tones and so on). But hte thing that never change is that I want a big beautiful bed with wooden carvings o at least a canopy :D

Such bedrooms need a lot of space thought :) I like the warm tones. Not everything must be black for me these days :)

This whole room is perfect. I usually don't like carped but this one is in a perfect position. It's always nice to not get your warm feet out of the bed on the cold floor :D

My perfect bed preference would be a bed build in wall. I don't know if my other half would justify it but I love to sleep in a confined space. As silly as it sounds I would when I was teen I would crawl with my pillow into a wardrobe and would fall asleep there. One day my mom came in when I was having wardrobe nap. She was looking for me and it was hard to explain her where I was just a second ago when she entered my room and I was no where to be found. Still, I don't like places I can be stuck in, just the cozy ones I can leave whenever I'm....rested :D
I saw this bed in a wall in old Russian book. The was a space in a wall that was covered with curtain and behind them there was a  mattress big enough for a person to sleep. The high of this "bed" was just enough for a person to almost stand in.
Looked something like this :)

here's more modern version ....

It's a great idea for small space room or for a child room though I would enjoy such bed even now.
Check out more of these super cozy beds here!

Autumn coat obtained

So yes yes yes, I found myself a perfect coat for an incredible low price and I'm just so happy about it, because it's exactly how I wanted it to look and the color is perfect to :D!

It's a high waist coat that get much wider at the bottom and is perfect for all fluffy skirts I have as well as for less frilly ones. I'm now wearing a simple skirt for work so you cant see much volume, but I'll show you it in the future:)

It even has a little bump so I am able to wear it with any bustle skirt :) I have one for now. I counted that I have 20 skirts and no trousers at all. So I'll try to stop on purchasing more skirts.. I'll try.

It goes really well with my new Antique Clock purse from Restyle.pl and I love those protruding shoulders. It's made from wool and acrylic. Not the warmest thing but it should do it's best for next couple months. It costed me $4 so... yeah :D

How more perfect can it be? :D
